Thursday, January 26, 2012: I'm thankful for the lovely trip to the temple we enjoyed today! Starting the year off well in completing this goal... 11 months more. ^_^ Bring on the joy!

Sunday, January 29, 2012: I'm thankful for quiet time with my family after a VERY uplifting Stake Conference. I accidentally spelled Stake (as in larger geographic area of LDS folks than the group that meets together every Sunday) as Steak just a second ago. This reminds me of a story I heard my Mom tell often. It goes a lil' something like this: Since my Mom was a convert, when she first heard of Stake Conference, she (understandably) heard Steak Conference. So, when they drove up to a church building, she was disappointed because there was no dinner served! I imagine that there have been many converts to feel such disappointment. But it is fun and funny that I know one who did! ^_^

Wednesday, February 1, 2012: I'm thankful for... (July 19th: this is the day I found out something horrible and felt like my world was crashing down. I honestly have to say the only thing I can say I was thankful for that day is being alive.)
